He reveals the irony about Indian society where there are two types of people, one who have all the facilities and opportunities and the other who only have hope. He expresses his notion of a nation without disparities in his comments. The first contestant of the episode to make it to the Hot Seat is Rajalakshmi Kumar from Vapi, Gujarat. She sets the minimum guaranteed amount to Rs. 1, 60,000. The 2nd question has a reference of Amitabh Bachchan's famous character Anthony Gonzalves' famous dialogue "You see the coefficient of the linear is juxtaposition by the haemoglobin..." and so, after she answers the question Amitabh says the dialogue just as he did in the movie Amar Akbar Anthony. On her 3rd question, Rajalakshmi uses her 1st lifeline, Audience Poll and gets through it easily. Amitabh Bachchan exposes a clip which depicts that Rajalakshmi doesn't have interest in household work. She, then, tells that she'll keep domestic helps with the amount she wins in the show.

Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show ""Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"" The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. The show is hugely popular in India. The 5th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will once again be hosted by Mr Amitabh Bachchan, and will be aired on Sony Entertainment Television from 15th August 2011 at 8:30 pm.
