The show initiates with the rollover contestant Shagufta Kazi who reached the Hot Seat in the last week. Once again the Expert for this episode is Rajiv Makhni, Managing Editor Technology, NDTV. Shagufta Kazi sets her minimum guaranteed amount to Rs.3,20,000. After winning Rs.10,000 Shagufta dedicates a few lines from her favourite movie 'Mughal-E-Azam' to Amitabh Bachchan. She uses her 1st lifeline, Audience Poll on her 4th question and Audience gives the correct answer. She uses her 2nd lifeline, Expert Advice on her 6th question and with the help of Rajiv Makhni, she answers it correctly. Amitabh Bachchan asks her fiancé, Rahil Shaami, if he wants to say something to Shagufta. With a permission of Amitabh Bachchan, Rahil comes to the floor and sings a song 'Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas' for her fiancé, Shagufta Kazi.

Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show ""Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"" The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. The show is hugely popular in India.
