Santosh V. Bangera from Mangalore, Karnataka sets his minimum guaranteed amount at Rs.1,60,000. Without using any lifeline, he reaches this amount. He uses two lifelines, Expert Advice and Audience Poll on his 7th question and wins Rs.3,20,000. Confidently moving ahead, he locks another question and awaits the result. He manages to reach Rs.6,40,000 with his knowledge and reveals that he hasn't informed his wife that he got selected for KBC because the couple thinks that she acts as a jinx on his victories. So, when going for KBC, Santosh and his sister lied to their family so that Santosh's wife doesn't get to know that he is going for a competition. He uses his remaining two lifelines, Phone-O-Friend and Double Dip but couldn't make it to the next question and drops down to his miminum guaranteed amount of Rs.1,60,000..
